In some ways "yes" gears is shutting down since they will no longer be at "gears". But they (EPC) will be moving to Gen Park.
This was the goal of creating the campus at Gen Park. Consolidate everyone from the 10 facilities at this one location.
Some laid off dudes just making false rumors.

Even if there isn't room for everyone and people are laid off it still DOES NOT mean that they are shutting down.
You really think there is room for everyone in EPC at Gremp Campus... room for some but def not all of gears.
