I've known Ginni for years, and I've been operating under the assumption that the reason Ginni devotes so much time and energy to shouting at the rain was that she simply didn't get it. Well, I was wrong. Ginni's problem isn't that she doesn't get it. Ginni's problem is that she can't sell it! We have serious problems to solve, and we need serious people to solve them. And whatever your particular problem is, I promise you, Ginni is not the least bit interested in solving it. She is interested in two things and two things only: making you think IBM can actually solve it and asking you for a check. That, ladies and gentlemen, is how you increase your bonus while losing revenue. You gather a group of middle-aged, middle-class, middle-income employees who remember with longing an easier time, and you talk to them about family and how IBM value employees and character. Then you ship jobs out of the USA while kissing the presidents large orange behind and you scream about patriotism and you tell them, it will all be ok, all the while taking away pay, benefits and laying them off to avoid paying retiree benefits. You want a character debate, Ginni? Good luck because look in the mirror. You have no character.

One of her best exit lines comes from THE GREAT RACE (1965) when the great Ross Martin, as Baron Von Stuppe, strode to the window in his castle and said "As a very wise English gentleman once said, he who runs away lives to fight another day....so, until another day Mr. Leslie (throws sabre) ..... Please excuse me, I have a boat waiting." OH that should be her at that point. LOL.
