Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel almost in the top 10...

.. of a list that they probably don't want to be in. Intel comes in at #11.

Though to add to the post below, I did leave Intel not due to ACT but on my own volition. There may be some non-ACT truth to the data as well.

I imagine that data from April 2016 to April 2017 is skewed heavily due to a LOT of people leaving due to ACT. ACT is probably the only reason Intel is so high on the list.

There are soooo many better options.

Apple

Nvidia

Google

Just to name a few...

I know for a fact that people at these places consider Intel to be a total joke of a company.

You're setting the bar too high. We're better than 10 companies. I'd call that a win!

Not surprised. I coincidentally read the Glassdoor reviews on Intel this morning and was quite surprised to see quite a few individuals that interviewed, received offers from Intel but did not accept the offers. I have not seen that at Intel before. It seems like the employees and talented job seekers understand what is happening inside Intel.

Intel has little innovation not is it an environment where genius or ambition is allowed to flourish, only old folks and those who can't find a job else where stay and milk it before it sinks!
