Don't complain! Just leave! When all of its employees leave the company will tumble.

Global IT unit will be consolidated in India. Everywhere else is a risk being closed down before Q3 ends. Looks elsewhere while you can.

The investors of Conduent need to intervene, cut off all the incompetence directors and the CEO as well, yes Ashok. Then bring in fresh blood to replace all the Cs and directors, especially Ashok to save the company. This guy and all his buddies are only good in cost cutting (saving money not equal to income), cutting people who actually deliver but can't bring in any revenues. Sinking ship, clients lost confidence due to all the sh--ty deliveries.

The higher ups have been taking away my role and I'm left with trying to figure out when I'm getting the boot. As it's almost 5pm now I'm thinking I'm spared a few more weeks till end of July at best.

Many Conduent employees laid off today, or given notice they will be laid off on September 22nd, in Monroe County and Webster, NY. As may as 150 people got the notice. It seems like, all of the former Xerox employees were or will be let go.

What a great way to start the summer....giving people the boot while the higher up enjoy a nice summer vacation with another pay raise and bonus. These people have no morals whatsoever. Get out fast before it's too late.

Let's review the problems in NY. Conduent did a horrible job managing the conversion project there. Now they are attempting to sue Cognizant for $150 million saying it was there incompetence that lead to this situation. My opinion is it was not. This lands squarely on Conduent' s shoulders. The lack of leadership delayed the projects for months and all Conduent could do was point fingers at Cognizant and the state of NY. They never took responsibility for their shortcomings. The common programmer/analyst was the backbone of the operation, they senior management gave no leadership and change direction at least 10 times in strategy and never completed one deliverable to the customer. It's time for Conduent to man up and take responsibility. The building where the conversion was taking place is bare and all the staff is gone. This is just another repeat of Alaska, California, and Montana. When is this company going to learn?

Presume that posts for Conduent are Xerox threads because nobody is fooled by the name change. Conduent IS XEROX and only saving grace is the Ursula is gone. Other than that, same horrible sweatshop atmosphere and bad management survives intact.

Every great company will come to an end. Look what happened to Lehmann Brothers, Enron, etc all due to poor management and corporate greed.

Recently, there's some kind of power struggle in India as well.

Bad teams are being rewarded with high profile projects because the leader clicked well with upper management. Good teams are being ignored and left in the dust because they do not know how to play politics despite having a good track record.

  • despite constant visible failure of the bad teams, there are still given good projects (money generating) even though there are other obviously better teams that are capable of doing it. Working on good projects ensure there's no layoff for those teams. The bad teams has caused a lot of customer dissatisfaction, problems and nightmare for everyone working on their previous projects and will continue to do so as nothing has changed internally.
