What is causing the oil price to keep sliding down?

Does not look good for us all.

I think what he/she is getting at is what is causing the demands to change so drastically?

Supply is high. Demand isn't as high.

It's supply and demand buddy. You must be one of those former home builders turned O&G "project managers" FMC is famous for. If you can't deal with price downturns stay out of oil and gas. The market is a bust and bom cycle. So when you are making money pay off and prepare for the bust. Don't buy your wife a Beemer, that won't help you in a downturn.
