Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

Supposedly BoA did some heavy

Dumping of employees.

Get your resume in order I guess.

The sad thing is STT would be a fun place if the constant and chronic fear of layoffs didn't loom.

It's a very demoralizing and degrading feeling having it hung out there never knowing if it when or who or how many.

No matter how well you do your job the quality work it's a crap shoot.

I wonder for there's any studies out there how unproductive employees become when huge layoffs occur and if it actually accelerates the companies downfall and speed at layoffs, probably some correlation.

I'll bet employee health overall declines as well proportional to the years of stress of chronic layoffs.

So even if you do well and great work it doesn't seem to matter.

Discouraging and scary and feeling helpless and hopeless.

Yes the price of the stock is going up, great for the people who are still working at SST

Not for the people who were discarded .

SST has had lousy Ceo's since the year 2000, nothing but bean counters who believe in

two things, outsourcing and layoffs.

Those are just short term fixes to boost the stock, the real question is how much new business has

SST won vs the businesses who have left SST due to all those scandals.

Look at the price of STT shares and we're worried over layoffs?

Maybe CEO needs to calm our worries and call off the hounds.

Maybe a public statement stating the tide has turned and the Clipper is in calmer seas?

Too much to ask?

Holy cow I thought we had it rough I wanted to read further about BoA see if there were any articles but instead realized they too have a thread on this site for their company.

Take a look it's kind of sad and scary that the financial industry is being systematically picked off.

Where will we put our money and who will properly manage it?

You really think other countries have better safeguards and better staff than America?

Terrible waste of intellect and resources of American workers.

If you've had a cup of string coffee I suggest checking out their thread!
