Thread regarding Kellogg Co. layoffs

Heluva Good Dip/Kelloggs killed Keebler

Dose anyone know of this company like I do? They did what Kelloggs is doing now about a year ago. Got out of DSD. Well guess what. There almost gone. My stores tell me. Everything is discontinued and of stock and lost most of there shelve/display space. They say it won't be much longer and they will be gone.

Kelloggs killed Keebler just a matter of time. Something you can tell your grandkids. I remember when there was a company called Keebler etc...........

Worked as a sales rep (Territory Manager) for Keebler then aquire by Kelloggs for 13 years. If you're not sending a guy around begging for display space, kiss your entire line goodbye. The grocers will only sell what moves the best out the front door. Innovation is what drives the category & who's going to choose to display an item that has an average 70% failure rate? Kiss your entire company goodbye.

I for one don't appreciate all this negativity.

Did the USA give up when Germany bombed Pearl Harbor? What's with this sitting around crap. I have full confidence that our crack account teams will get things turned around and return this company to its former glory. Leadership obviously has its fingers on the pulse of the grocery business. So business may take a dip and shelf conditions will be deplorable. Just remember....

Not in my store!

Game on!

I know a couple of their dips were really good (onion and bacon white cheddar ranch) but I was under the impression that they had been a warehouse item for ages. Maybe I'm wrong; it has been a long time since I worked dairy. I have noticed that Dean's Dips seem to be crowding them out slowly, as is an expanded line of store brand.

That's what it really comes down to in the end, as far as leaving DSD is concerned. If you decide to let other people do your company's work, you really can't be surprised if they don't do it as well as dedicated employees do it.

I know the Kashi sections I see tend to look like hell since we let them go warehouse. So far, the WalMart transition hasn't impressed me much.
