People have currently moved to Sidney for Cabelas? I hope they know what they're getting themselves into...

for those buying a house in Sidney Nebraska some things are obvious like the current situation with cabelas. other things are not to obvious without some research like real estate taxes and current local government policy. You go to fort Collins or Cheyenne and often you will hear about the tremendous high real estate taxes in Nebraska. then you go to most other towns in Nebraska you may hear about the tremendous high real estate taxes in Sidney ne. A potential home owner may also not hear about potential fines if someone in the community does not like the looks of your home .
Looking on Zillow at houses for sale in Sidney, all I can think is good luck with that. This is not the east coast. Prices are going to take a haircut.
Hopefully they didn't buy a house and if renting, it's a month to month agreement!
