We are having layoffs right now - it'll be announced soon - ascena retail will lay off 10 executives. In addition, 200 more associates will be laid off. Plus Fashion Segment home office is fairly hit and also there will be cuts to Global Sourcing. It's just a start - I am sure more store closures will be announced and more cuts are coming.
All people I talked with today are VERY CONCERNED about the direction - also, we are not stupid, we are seeing major retailers melt down at a rapid pace - this is not a good place to work at right now.
