Chamberlain's egregiously high tuition

Wouldn't cutting Chamberlain's egregiously high tuition be a better idea? 600 schools plus doing RN-BSN and many at half or less the price.

The only things keeping Chamberlain afloat are the partnership agreements and tuition reimbursement that many students get at this point. If you look at Western Governors or some of the other schools, I don't see what would convince anyone to pay Chamberlain's inflated tuition otherwise.

I had a friend who started taking classes at CCN but quickly transferred to a comm college that had a nursing program. She said it was a lot cheaper and the education was a lot better there. She said CCN classwork was mediocre, esp for the price you pay. And she said if she gets a nurse who said she went to CCN she would ask for another nurse considering the experience she had in the classroom and the people that the school accepts.

You would think that if they charged the high price they would make the education at least worth it.

I have never been impressed with CCN. They may get the numbers in, true. But it's only because healthcare is a hot field. It was nothing to do with the quality of the education (or lack thereof). Once students realize they can go elsewhere for cheaper for the same education or better, CCN won't be the golden child anymore. That will be hard for some to handle.
