Better yet who gets the financial rewards?
This has ZERO to do with the skill accumen and creativity of the CEO
It has everything to do with EO weakening D-F and potus and Congress starting to roll back the deleterious effects of D-F
Where are our raises?
Where are our merit bonuses?
Where is our job security?
Exactly
Crickets
They reap the benefit not from the CEO but from the repealing efforts of D-F and a robust confident stock market

As for job security take each day as though it might be your last
The real question is with all these scandals and loss of customers some which are not reported in
the news. What is causing the stock to go up $6.00 during the month of June ?
Yikes could it signal more layoffs
Look how long it took for GE CEO to "resign"
Our CEO will take credit for the new WH administrations unleashing of the economy,unwinding of D-F etc etc etc
Whatever helps you sleep at night.
You don't look outwards unless there is a CEO out there that actually has skill and there are a few
You don't look inward for buddies
You look for someone with vision and skill that has the wherewithal to combine the needs of the actual company shareholders and employees and stakeholders above yourself
I know slim pickings look at Apple tim cook no vision no creativity
You don't just be a bean counter
I'm sure if they actively looked they'd find someone maybe someone retired
But what clown would they pick to be the new CEO ?
Just look at the parade of useless people who been CEO since 2000

GE announced after decades of poor performance that their current CEO is being replaced. I dream each and every day that State Street will do the same thing. I think today is a perfect day to once again sing out loud the State Street worker fight song:
