Seems odd that they are always hiring even in my business unit. I see a lot of people jumping ship to partners and other vendors but days later they are opening up that position again.
My guess is that they are cutting all of the development staff, maintenance groups and other "non-essential" people. The worry people should have is the talented sales, SE and PS people that we know are leaving. This is the reason people are still trying to stay with EMC.
The reason are dwindling quickly.
