Thread regarding ConAgra Foods Inc. layoffs

6/1/17 Layoffs

Every location in the conga empire will feel the pain and some locations will be closed as we were told at chef Boyardee in Milton. We were told there will be 140 hr and 20 salary layoffs in the next few months as the next phase of savings kicks in. As we are a larger plant with over 600 that likely saved our location to closure. Good luck out there as this new CEO is a corporate raider and "anti American" . He is out to make himself rich on the back of the thousands of hard working employees of conagra. Have no loyalty to this company since it is destroying family's all across the USA.

Verified in the media. Up to 150 third shift workers will lose their jobs this year at Milton. Sales must be tanking for CBAD.

Anyone surprised?

Layoffs, Plant Closures, Dumping long established money making Brands, moving product lines to Co-packers, outsourcing critical corporate functions to incompetent Brokers and vendors, and eliminating employees opportunity to purchase company stock via their company 401K are not the signs of a company that has a viable future of any kind.

It is, in fact, the visible death rattle of a company being driven to extinction by a Senior Leadership Team that has only one goal in mind. That being to extract every last cent for their personal benefit from the cooling corpse of a once great company.
