Air Canada is going with Amadeus I think. No one that's not Etihad affillated wants anything to do with Sabre. With the Air Berlin pending bankruptcy I'll be surprised if they actually cut over. They may end up staying with Amadeus.
Who's winning all these recent deals that Sabre has lost? amadeus? There just doesn't seem to be much good news coming out of Southlake these days. I bet additional cuts come after next week's Sabre event in Vegas. Customer attendance was expected to be down substantially from last year.
If reorgs and cuts would help drive company performance, Sabre would have been doing great by now since they have done enough of both.
However, the fact as we all know is that the cuts have an adverse impact overall but our leaders are focused only on hitting numbers for the current quarter / year and have no new ideas other than cuts and reorgs unfortunately. These cuts and attrition of the best is definitely not sustainable and it is all down hill from here. Time to look outside and short the stock
