I was recently fired for unattainabe goals. I worked nights and weekend hours. The vast majority of calls routed to us were from existing customers, yet we were expected to convert them to cable tv, Internet and phone... not possible. Our coding process changed many times, calls rang off the wall some months, then they barely trickled in in other months.. no explanation. No severance and the sick days...we're not paid. Loyalty is disregarded. It is all about Charter. High turnover, most quit, but I stuck it out despote all the condescending coaching sessions and unrealistic expectations. And, if customers wonder why we rush them... we are required to. It's all about numbers and call time. No call backs.... so if were struggling with coding an order due to all the continual changes..., customers must hang on the phone too. I'm amazed how patient so many customers were. Pay with commissions was much lower than anticipated. The list goes on.
Way to stay Positive Blotto.... Lord knows I cant wait to get one of the 20K call center jobs. I even went to college to become a better call center employee. Its been a life long dream of mine to repetitively answer calls from irate customers who are getting consistently screwed over and help the realize they are only getting screwed over because the allow it. the ol' Bait N Switch....... Charter rocks!
