Thread regarding McKesson Corp. layoffs

MCK Incentives

I heard the plan is to eliminate incentives, staff and get to break even by IPO. Look for good solid Voluntary Packages in Summer. Hearing it may be 3 weeks for every year of service (choice of one time payout or split up over two calendar years. 50/50, 30/70 etc) , plus 12 months of healthcare.

I was laid off last October and I got 2 weeks for every year up to 52 weeks maximum and one month of healthcare coverage. After that I had to pay $916.70 per month for Cobra coverage.

That is the way to do it, offer voluntary packages. Otherwise you have AVP making bad decisions and hiding people they went to their weddings with. After all is this not why you (McKChange) are in this position? Allowing incompetence to use judgement?

It would be great if they had voluntary packages this summer. At this point I think there would be a lot of folks who would take advantage of that, saving jobs for a lot of others.

I'll drink the MckChg koolaid. Put it in writing and MckChg will have their first RIF volunteer today.

This person is just getting people's hopes up. There will never be 12 months of healthcare offered in a RIF, nor will there be 3 weeks for each year of service. The last I heard, it was 2 weeks per year of service with a max of 52 weeks, and healthcare for only one month.

This person is back trying to stir up ill will again with the same lies. You obviously don't know anything about MCK layoffs. This have never happened in the past and will not happen now. Not in the last layoff and not in any future rifs.
