Dell EMC in India was initially very cautious about its image because of the EMC brand value but last quarter an entire team was laid off overnight. Now it has started showing off in other BU's as well, although the meetings are happening in closed doors and employees do not get any clues whatsoever till the time it actually happens. We have a meeting coming up tomorrow and there are rumors that half of our BU is going to get laid off. Dell is hell as someone recently pointed out seems to be coming up as true. Does anyone has an idea of severance package of layoffs in India?

The is no severance package in India. Just take you XX number of months notice and/or pay in lieu of notice and move out. Thats about it.
Very True, EMC India is full of crap management and mostly useless fellows.
That is weird.
EMC India is bunch of useless fellows. It takes them 1 month to produce few hours of work.
They are great in saying "yes sir we can do anything" but that's about it.
Are you surprised by all of this. Folks in Round Rock are walking on egg shells
