We all know what happened. The writing was on the wall at least 12-15 years ago or more. First the small tweaks. Then the trashing of the basics from the inception of the railroad all for the new Management philosophy. You knew it wasn't going to work then but to keep a job it was fall in line. The direction of that line has changed now because when enough is enough it's gotta go time for those tied to the failed plan - even if they didn't want it. Upper management has no time to sort through who can adjust to the new vision - they fire existing and bring in those who are in line with the new vision. Yes it's about bottom line. Yes every employee is a number.

Does it have to be this way?
