It's not that shinly and I am fed up with all of this, I am honest as I can be. here in CSX management you work 12+ hours every Monday to Friday and then you have rotating weekends, it's horrible. If there's derailment you're there even longer so it's not conducive to people want a social life. So, work-life balance is zero and pay is substandard. Not happy.

CSX management: where you are paid for 40 and expected to work 80+.
Nobody with RR experience in t&e wants to move into management because they can see how poorly the company treats its managers (even worse than t&e)...so they hired college kids off the street. Didn't take long for them to either fizzle out or say "screw this" and move on to greener pastures. The managers who are dismissed are the lucky ones. The ones who remain are going to be REALLY overworked and underpaid.

23 yrs @ CSX! I work an average of 70 hr wks! 6 days n a row! Monday thru Saturday! I'm a Railroad man! It's what I do! I'm gone help CSX be the best Railroad in a America! ( I think we are already! Yes I've invested in our Company! Do your job! %100 Everyday! If I get layed off it won't be from not doing my job ! Let Csx Roll! God Bless America!🇺🇸🚂
