Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

During mergers, layoffs, redundancies and cost cut downs employees just move on with their lives.

In case of DELL EMC there is so much animosity, the blame goes to managers. When you feel you are the best, always did a great contribution and lost your job......it's a bad feeling.

Best engineers solve the problems, they go to different company and perform at highest level.

Those unethical management and employees who destroyed colleagues...can't say much about politics, will one day end up badly

In response to one of the comments, Dell storage employees/managers/too many directors (do we really need so many directors, and directors reporting to directors) are grossly overpaid. This is Nashua and Eden Prairie, not Silicon Valley.

To all NDC/MDC/EMC storage engineers who come to work at 10:30 or 11:00 am, browse internet all day, take 2 to 3 hours of lunch break, work from home 3 months a year and leave early at 4 and still have jobs. Just keep kissing managers/directors a--. I did a case study and I found a formula for success.

To all existing employees who are s---ers and survivors, have fun and walk around the building and stay healthy.

I am the top performer in a large legacy storage team (used to be a team of 25+ and now 15 plus during past 5 years) and I got laid off. No one is even close to me in terms of getting the job done or technical expertise. Who ever left the team during past 8 years are those who can't get alone with her. My manager is an expert in manipulation of reviews, pip and bonus, which I realized after few years. She highly protects certain employees, don't know the reason ..........so fill up the blanks. There are employees with fake degrees and experience who still have a job. Hey ..... you know what I am talking about, employees who spend more time in talking to management and director rather during actual work.

My manager s---s and she should be fired, just pure discrimination.

You peice of sh--, I don't even deserve to be in your team.

Yes, they will all end up badly because soon they are all that will be left. The employees who once made Dell & EMC great are long gone (or will be soon) and clearly it is no longer great or even close to being great because most of the knowledge, the talent and loyal, hard workers are gone and all that will be left are the ruthless, unscrupulous and unethical kissers who ran them off, then, they will turn on one another and so begins the cannibalism. They will feed on each other until nothing is left, that is what greed does. And, they will get to taste the havoc, turmoil, stress, hardship and chaos they have so callously been forcing on others with no regard for people's lives, their families or their years of contribution/dedication/service and sacrifice while you and everyone else they * on get to watch... Then they will get to enjoy lying awake at night worrying about who is going to hire them since, last time I checked, there really isn't a huge market for managers who have been grossly overpaid for years doing not that much and whose only notable accomplishment is contributing to the destruction of the largest technology company that used to exist.

But, the real good news is that you don't have to wake up and be one of them.
