Maitland, FL and Regina, SK (Canada) layoffs coming (not sure when, however- sorry!). Lower Sackville near Halifax, NS (Canada) will be opening a 2nd center to acquire the 2 closed center's workload. No relos offered. New terms will allow many to not receive severance. Sorry to break the news- but use this as an opportunity to get your resume ready.

This is the direction the company is heading. With the number of stores and field offices expected to close in the next three years Staples will look to get out of severance and UI expenses as much as possible.
