Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

More people from corporate and field offices / management post here, the reddit sub is mostly used by store associates.

There are a few corp. shills that drank to much kool aid and some other home office workers that will be straight, but they usually delete their posts soon after.

You think reading here is bad, don't go to the staples subreddit. lol

Staples shared center Columbia sc the majority got termination dates today. Each department at different times while they out source our jobs to others in others states. Sad day.

I work for them and it's scary. They're hiring and dropping hours. Everyone is getting completely stressed out. I'm looking for another job.

Nice story. Accurate description. Good advice. I too know many still doing time. They should commute their own sentence for no other reason than their mental well being. I checked out in any emotional way from Staples as soon as I saw the adversarial management approach. I worked quietly for them until a few years ago and I worked to subvert all their attempts to screw me over. I was successful in the end and I still get a good laugh when thinking about it. They are NOT smart people and this is exactly why they find themselves in the $#!T they are in. Most still there are either trapped because there is no where to go or are just s---ing on the drying up teats of the rotting corpus. Glad for you and for me :-)
