Yes cognizant lays off anyone just like that if u get low rating and even if u r in a project . So many internal politics . May be the company isn't doing well.
Very unfair to give in news as underperformers and layoff . They are ruining the life of the candidate by doing this . First they give bad rating no bonus then layoff . If they give warning before being laid off they can look for another job.
After being laid off which company will be willing to hire then after the big news had spread so much.very bad of way dealing things .CTS did so much bad to many .
