Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

Just read these two articles and then tell me it isn't time to unionize!

First, Dolan told you guys that you didn't need a union coming in between you and the company - then he sold the place for 17 billion dollars. Now you've got Altice looking to turn all the work over to contractors while US CEO Goei is buying himself a 30 million dollar mansion. Patrick Drahi, the head of Altice, is worth 10 billion dollars and proudly states "I pay as little as I can." You know what is absolutely amazing? It's that when you bring stuff like this up you then get accused by the Rush Limbaugh types of engaging in "class warfare". So I think it's either time to unionize or time to learn the following phrase - "May I have some more please?"

Omg getting testy sometimes news has to be regurgitated, but your right once the majority of the guys signed over they won, they paid for their horror show admission. And the show is about to begin. The only people that are good is brooklyn and Oakland good luck to the rest Of Ats

Shut up with that old news. It's over deal with it. Drahi and company won. The city of New York knew this would happen but still let them buy the company. Business is crooked on all corners including union. Only thing you can do is move on to another job. All the crying and wanting to fight for all you invested in is stupid and pointless.

Altice cannot be stopped. Nothing you do will stop them. Nothing a union can do about the situation. Let it go. Sound like a dam broken record. We all got played period. The minute Dolan sold the company it was over for all of us.
