It's time to ignore any or all management responses on this website. Every technician can spot those in a heartbeat. They're tired of the same-old-same-old. Management is out of viable excuses. Now they're resorting to questions about usernames used on the website. Unable to sleep at night, wondering if any of the "Star Wars" characters will attack them in the dead of night. To distract you guys from the issues that concern you. To introduce a form of weak comedy, hoping for a chuckle. It reminds me of the old days when someone would "put you down", and if you had no reasonable response, then you would answer, "YOUR MAMA." How lame, pathetic.... and sad.
It's so idiotic, that now management wonders if posters, such as myself, are "touching themselves behind the computer screen" as we provide information to you, which YOU can decide whether it pertains to you or not, and its validity. You, MANAGEMENT reveal yourselves as children with eroticism in your minds. What can you be thinking about when you are alone, sitting in your car, always wondering..... wondering..... wondering?
EMPLOYEE CONCERNS are NOT important to YOU. You can not provide honest answers to their future. Instead, you're using your valuable time to smear or accuse EVERYONE as a union rep, or if anyone mentions the word "union" is purposely misleading you with false information. Information anyone can easily validate or prove to be true or false.
No one is questioning what Altice has done to their employees thus far. It's apparent. And it hurts. Management could NEVER feel the pain since they're in a "comfort zone." They're safe for now. As long as there is no union created, then they have done and kept their job. They're earning much more in salary than YOU are. And their remedy is to tell you, "it's only a cut. Put a Band-Aid on it and you'll be fine." The bleeding might stop. But it leaves a scar. A reminder of what YOUR COMPANY did to them. And it won't go away.
Below are your rights as an Altice(ATS) employee. Know that there is no reason for FEAR or management intimidation to get in your way in making your decision.
Under the NLRA, it is illegal for your employer to:
• Prohibit you from soliciting for a union during non-work time, such as before or after work or during break times; or from distributing union literature during non-work time, in non-work areas, such as parking lots or break rooms.
• Question you about your union support or activities in a manner that discourages you from engaging in that activity.
• Fire, demote, or transfer you, or reduce your hours or change your shift, or otherwise take adverse action against you, or threaten to take any of these actions, because you join or support a union, or because you engage in concerted activity for mutual aid and protection, or because you choose not to engage in any such activity.
• Threaten to close your workplace if workers choose a union to represent them.
• Promise or grant promotions, pay raises, or other benefits to discourage or encourage union support.
• Prohibit you from wearing union hats, buttons, t-shirts, and pins in the workplace except under special circumstances.
• Spy on or videotape peaceful union activities and gatherings or pretend to do so.
I, personally welcome any and all dim-witted, feebleminded and asinine remarks you may make. As long as it comes my way, and not towards your employees, then I'm cool with it. I've dealt with far worse. And I've left without a scratch. Everyone sees you as pee-ons. But don't stop there. Know this... every technician will refuse to engage in a battle of wits...with someone who is clearly unarmed.'
Therefore, no more cuts.
And no more band-aids.
The bleeding stops now.
Should you YOU-nionize?
Fellas.... YOU DECIDE.
