Not that it is fair, but I believe they were following each company's practices before the merger. The max 24 months at Spectra was always the norm for any layoffs / severance etc. They could and should have given everyone the larger of the two across the board but it's business and they don't care. Sadly.

Can anyone confirm if ENB max was 1 yr or 2?? Seems Integrity and Respect are missing if SPEC gets 2 max and ENB only gets 1.
Is it over at Westheimer office?
I heard from a decently reliable source that ENB had a max of 1 year of payments and Spectra had a max of 2 years of payments.
1 month severance for every year worked to a max of 24 months. Some were just bridged to their retirement date so their pensions weren't impacted. I don't know about UG or contractors though but my guess would be UG would get the same as the other enterprises across the organization and contractors don't usually receive any severance.
Being in the October layoff, I got 2 weeks for every year of service, plus a portion of a STIP bonus, and I want to say an allowance for insurance as well.
I was part of the Oct cuts in Houston and my package looked something like the following...
All your remaining PTO paid out
What your STIP bonus would've been
3 months of insurance premiums based on the coverage you have at the time
Sounds like 1 month per year, 24 months max. Correct?
The previous response is vague. Two years of compensation or two years of service. For instance, would 10 years of service get you 2 months (discounting any service after two years), or 10 months (1 month per year). 2nd example - 30 years, 2 months (like above) or 2 years (24 months) because the service was capped at 24 years, nothing about 24 counted?
In BC it was 1 month per year up to two years.
