Why is this school still open?
This thread is troll city.
Zenith doesn't run the schools like CCi. CCi was chaotic, Zenith is being run by a bunch of clowns who believe they know what to do and they are clueless. The IT infrastructure is a joke; it would operate 100% better if it were being managed by high school students. The curriculum department is ran by people who have great ideas then shove the workload on overstressed staff members to make it work with no time to make corrections or test systems for updates or accuracy. A lot of people who have titles and egos, but no practical experience that hide in their office Don't forget the backstabbing, latter climbing 40 year olds wanting to make a name for themselves at Zenith. Zenith, what a fricking joke. I hope Podesta reads this comment. I wonder when the Fed money will run out?
Thanks Camden. Let's ALL send to ACCSC and stop this nonsense. This is for the students. Don't criticize Halperin's reporting. Criticize the pitiful performance of Zenith. It must stop. It must.
@MrvHHu4-5qyg, I just sent an email to ACCSC and cc'd it to the Zenith monitor. I encourage others to do the same.

You sound like a PR idiot for Zenith Education. Go read the article again since you can't comprehend what was written. It refers to CCi as the former owners. But it doesn't matter because Zenith is running the schools like CCi and preying on the veterans for their hard earned benefits.
Total propaganda article. "Corinthian owners" tips that off. Zenith/ Everest is not owned by Corinthian, which was a publicly traded company. Zenith is non-profit. It's by David Halperin, the guy who makes his living by slamming Everest. Look up his endless past articles for yourself.
Agree. Camden can you forward to ACCSC? They need to see what the Compliance Monitir had identified.
Hey Camden, you should send a link to the article to ACCSC. There's 10 Everest schools up for consideration for, accreditation with ACCSC and they need to talk to the independent monitor. There are 10 Everest and 3 WyoTechs that are accredited by ACCSC and they should investigate these 13 schools again.
The monitor's contact information is here:

Ouch....not good but not surprising. Its really unfortunate because there are good people working here trying to make a difference. Its a shame that those on top cannot make positive change and are driven by arrogance and narcissism. They really have not changed and when change tries to occur those who aren't interested in true valuable change have the final say. Career colleges must exist and its too bad for those students who just want a skill full trade and a job.
I am sure the accreditors will end up with this article. If not, then thats concerning.
Here's the Washington Post report on this same topic. Does anyone know how to make sure that the accreditor sees this?

ECMC is making too much money off the defaulted loans that Zenith writes to close it down. It's one of the only businesses that a company like ECMC can make money on both ends. When a student enrolls in Everest or WyoTech the federal government pays ECMC 30 to 80 thousand dollars in student loan money and when that same student defaults on their student loan the federal government pays ECMC another 40% of what they collect on that loan. On a $60,000 student loan ECMC has a chance to profit $100,000. It's like being a doctor and a mortician, if the patient dies you make money twice, you get paid to treat his illness and if he dies, you get paid to burry him. It's a win win situation for ECMC.
It will always amaze me that this school is still open. Their degrees are worthless, the Associate Deans just push everyone through, you are no better before the classes/degree than after and they bring people in that should never be in college.
I just don't get who these students are, don't they read a paper, research the school? No one should continue with the school, unless you have started and since no other school will take their credits, you have to continue. It would be wise to close the school down after making arrangements with a couple other schools to accept the credit, then the loans don't need to be forgiven.
Everest is now Altiris
Disturbing.
same ol' crap!
Thank you for sharing this article. Just another greedy driven cluster. Same story, different players, and all of them will walk away, and the taxpayers / students will end up holding the bag.
Sounds like nothing has changed under new owners. Nothing.
Wow. Also covered in the Washington Post. Seems like a big deal.
