Thread regarding Zenith Education Group layoffs

It's Almost April

Time for another restructuring and a new path to prosperity. Zenith lost over 50 million in 2016 not including the losses from the teach out schools. Some of the Everest schools can't find a new Accrediting Board and WyoTech is still facing low enrollment numbers. The Fit is going to hit the Shan about mid April.

Taylor is an idiot and everyone knows it. His ego is bigger than Jack Massamino was and he won't listen to anyone, he just puts people down.

The data to which I refer should be obvious to anyone with information about enrollment. Taxpayers are taking it in the shorts for reasons related to grant/loan profiles at a wide variety of post secondary educational "institutions". The return on taxpayer investment is dismal, as is the case with other entitlements - but the gainful employment stats can't be blamed on Zenith or Taylor alone.

Graduate and placement rates lower than they have ever been. Enrollment flat lined or decreasing at most schools. Employee moral at an all time low and dropouts at an all time high. Is that the datayou're referring too?

And does the data you refer to suggest that Everest is serving its students well? Are the taxpayers well served with Pell Grants and other subsidies resulting in young men and women graduating at acceptable rates and becoming gainfully employed? I haven't seen such data for Everest. That's what we should care about. I agree about the name-calling. That is counter-productive.

You know why nobody here has anything good to say about Taylor? Its because you don't understand data driven decisions. Which means that your decisions (and your posts) are unlikely to be based on anything logical or truthful. It also means that your ability to formulate any plausible argument for or against ANYTHING is nonexistent (hint: name calling and whining DON'T COUNT). They have free support groups for people with your disorder. Find one and see if you can decipher the GPS directions.

Agree completely about Taylor. Most arrogant leader I've known. It would be more tolerable if the schools' performance weren't so abysmal.

Time for Taylor to get the boot. What an arrogant fool he is, thinks he's the only person that knows education. The only thing he has done is destroy any moral the employees had.

The best thing we have going for us at WyoTech are the veterans. We still hit the bases hard with the recruiters and sign up as many veterans as possible. It puts enough butts in seats to keep the doors open even though we are still losing money on paper. ECMC makes a killing on the defaults from Zenith so it's a wash.

Not sure about Wyotech, but until they replace admissions leadership at Everest and get someone who knows what they are doing nothing is going to get better. They can name us whatever they want, but incompetent is incompetent
