Is my local Staples store closing? I live in Alamo, California. My Staples store in San Ramon/Danville, California is always very quiet. I can never find a single employee to help me, The one cashier is twiddling her thumbs and when I finally do get help on the aisles the employee is usually four or five customers deep. I tend to order from the ordering station in the front of the store, the other Staples store in Fremont, CA is the exact same way. Is this expected out of all stores now? If so this has become real sad, I worked for staples about 10 years ago. I absolutely loved it, so many fun memories. I left because I went into business for myself, never looked back. But what has come of Staples? Everybody just seems so pissed off to work on the retail side of Staples

I'm an administrative director for a major hospital in Maryland. We were spending nearly 2.5 million on office supplies at Staples business advantage. I have since cancelled anything in regards to Staples, one experience that the General Manager treated me as a criminal was enough for me. Bye Staples
A friend of mine showed me this site as she was let go from corporate. I didn't have the heart to tell her that my company stopped ordering with Staples over a year ago. We get everything from Amazon or WB Mason. Staples prices are too high and the B2B service is really lacking. Online wasn't any better. The ordering process was too long and checkout was a nightmare. I don't know who designs the Staples website, but WB Mason and Amazon's are much easier to navigate.
Order from Amazon like everyone else does. F... Staples!!
Basically Staples is cutting costs associated to brick and mortar stores , mostly payroll, while they wait out for the leases to expire. So, while that store remains open, do not expect too get any associates to help you unless you wait a while. When the lease is up, they will likely close that store.
Yeah, I own my own mechanic shop. Not too sure why I should be answering that question in September?
In business for yourself you say?
Ask yourself that question again in September.
You'll have your answer.
