We had never expected such kind of news from Cognizant but Cogni also started doing this. Now cognizant employees are also no more safe.. Persons who r having loans and other responsibilities too, Suddenly where they will go??

Sounds like if you are a h1-b individual you will have a hard time, Perhaps it time to build an industry in your own country that will support the number of job seekers.
You must be joking, when you expressed your surprise that CTS 'also' is doing it. In fact, CTS is one of the forefathers in this 'hire & fire' game. The so-called leaders of NASSCOM just don't know how to lead the organization or its business members. So, they are defending it.
In the next 1-2 years, IT sector will lose most of the business. The reason : Uncle Sam is not going to approve any of the H1B extension requests. Already most companies have thousands of H1B holders working in the US. All of these guys will be forced to move out of US. Companies will lose all the business that are currently coming through these H1B holders. It is going to be catastraphe in the IT sector. I was in this sector too for over 18 years but quit my company last month ( it was my own decision to leave this D-bag profession).
