O+G people are famous for setting up unsustainable lives? I guess... but so are doctors, lawyers, bankers, professional athletes... you know - people with money. Nothing special about oil and gas.
And so, after years of being bitter about being dramatically out-earned you seem to be experiencing some Schadenfreude. That says lots about you and little about O+G people.
