Someone told me there have been layoffs at Online Services. Is that true?

No one got six months severance. Devry severance is one week of pay for every year of tenure.
Well, if they got 6 mo of severance, they can enjoy some spring weather while they look around...Those who quit get nothing---so it is better to be laid off.
Over 50 were cut from what I have seen in another post. This place has become a farce, a shell of what it used to be when it was a real school. It's pretty much just a sham school now
Yep. 13 people were let go in Registrar Services and possibly more in other departments.
Yep. Not sure how many yet. And we were understaffed as is, so it's going to get worse. Those who have been let go are the lucky ones. They can now get a job at a decent company or a real school.
I think it's time to move on from this place.
