I worked at emblemhealth for the last 10 years and for the most part it was a pleasant place to work. However, because of poor management the company was loosing money. The New CEO Agnani former lobbyist from Washington and probably voted for Trump came in decided to dismantle the company and is outsourcing most of the jobs to India. Customer service is outsourced to the Philippines. The company was over managed and instead cutting back in managers and supervisor who only had 1 or 2 people under them, they decided to get rid of the people that have been fateful all of these years. Previous management instead of changing the computer system that was antiquated. Management just kept updating the system with scotch tape fixes. To all NYC agencies subscribers your personal information is now going through India the identity theft corridor.
