Anyone heard about new plays? Sounds exciting?

Wonder if ANYTHING, despite drilling or completing drilled uncompleted wells, we have is truly economic at today's prices with oil price weakening for sure and gas price not strengthening.
Same story I heard -- no money now or in foreseeable future for new plays.... could be bad info... I'm not at company. But about 6 people at a recent conference said same thing

Heard just the opposite - no money into new plays ... guys in new ventures just working with divisions do routine work
