I see many posts here on possible layoffs and also i see that the 4th bucket folks are being asked to leave voluntarily or they risk being fired. I've heard that we at CTS may be having mass layoffs next month and I wanted to see if any one had more info on what's being planned.
I can connect dots here, with the 4th bucket folks being always the first go go while they (the execs) are looking to see if more work can be sold and if the situation can improve.
I am assuming they will not be able to turn things around and sell more projects, so this leads me to believe that all the rumors about April 2017 layoffs actually may pan out to be true. On the consulting side, I think you'll be fine if you are on a client and doing chargeable work, if you are not - you will likely be cut.
Just my two cents on the subject...
