Are there many others let go by CA since then. People are being put on programs as excuses to terminate in the future. It has happened to several of us all ready,

When was the Service Management Team let go? Is Enterprise Management next?

I was one of the lucky ones in Ft Collins who received walking papers on March 21st. I say lucky because I've talked with "survivors" who tell me it's now a dysfunctional mess. Many of them are looking for other opportunities. Fortunately we were warned that this was coming back in January. I had an interview an hour after I was laid off and started work for another company within three weeks. Not sure what the basis was for selecting the 35, but since my boss and most of the senior management were let go on the 20th, I suppose it was spreadsheet management by the wizards in Santa Clara.

I was laid off from the Fort Collins office Tuesday, 21 Mar 2017. The severance package was one pay period of severance for each complete year of service. As is expected, there is no compensation for unvested restricted stock.

I'm not clear on the general strategy used to decide who would stay and who would go, but several senior staff people were let go (a vice president, a senior director, at least two directors) in addition to a number of technical staff.

Good luck to the team that remains. The stress levels are unlikely to reduce as a result of losing 15%+ of the people at the site.

10 in the DB2 tools group in Lisle, a couple of NetMaster folks, a couple in Plano. Total is supposed to be around 60 - so there is a long way to go yet.

The old saying in Poker,

"If you don't know who the s---er at the table is...it's you."

If you're out of the loop as middle management, it's probably because they've decided to remove you from the loop.
