Turns out this rumor is true. I'm very sorry everyone. I just received the official notice from my boss. I don't know who has found out yet, but it's being told verbally now. You'll find out today and the change will take place next week.
How does that make you lucky? It effectively reduces your severance by 10%

As a contractor no problem taking the 10% cut. It will just mean we get more work and we can do it cheaper as we are much more efficient and understand real world issues Will just mean more Enbridge employees will lose their jobs.
I'm sure we would welcome a 10% paycut versus an alternative 100% paycut. E = Grateful
