Ats techs do you actually believe

Ats techs do you actually believe they will get rid of Oakland and Brooklyn unionized techs before you because you signed over to this new entity?

@lzw - Good point. That always seems to get lost in all of this. Imagine how many techs would have been slashed if that PSC agreement wasn't in place.

@zzd if it wasn't for the union your jobs would of been cut even sooner, The cwa told the psc and the others about Altice they got the customer facing deals I guess your not going to acknowledge that.

Are you guys aware that by LAW it is illegal for Altice to withdraw their offer from Oakland to go to ATS because of unionization when it was offered to Oakland before unionization. It's unlawfully bias against the union. Brooklyn is a different scenario. You corporate trolls keep stating it will take 3 years to reach a contract when in reality no one really knows how long it's gonna take. It could be 3 months. I'm going to guess these are more scared tactics you're using to keep shops from unionizing. Due your due diligence and research your labor laws before speaking. Don't just repeat what the corporate trolls whisper in your ears..

Yes both depots will stagnate for a number of years. You will have to work until Altice USA transfers all operations to ATS. but until this happens ATS will continue hiring hiring new employees and using contractors. Than you union guys will be offered a spot when one is available. But there won't be any and you'll be a part of a layoff based off Altice USA closing. Remember ATS is a new company you chose to stay with Altice. They don't need to offer you anything.

So yes your screwed.

You really think they gonna rid of the unionized depots? Between Oakland & Brooklyn that's over 200 techs & if other depots go union like Lodi & Newark now your talking over 500 techs. Another scared corporate tactic & you guys are swallowing it like a porn star. You Altice believers are in for a rude awakening.

No doubt . The future is unknown but one thing is certain . JD didn't want it in but it came and then JD wanted out ! This company wants it out as well you can hear it in their voices and now they are starting something new that they don't have to have over at the new company . They already said if you think your going to be a tech at Altice USA it's only a short lived life so they'll keep them Til they need them and then say bye bye cause Altice now has no techs and ats is non union . Plus it took Brooklyn 3 years to get a contract ! No thanks! They'll probably be gone by then !

It's not about kissing a-- it's not about crying about what they take away ! It's about SURVIVAL! You want to be union . Go to Comcast or one of those god forsaken companies that we get told how bad they s--- . We are in the starting phases and there's going to be growing pains . We had it good and maybe it'll be good again but then again good it what you make of it so s--- it up and get out there. Stop your freaking crying !
