They are gearing up to layoff people on either March 22. Making all sorts of plans and it's the worst kept secret. Remember Al, how you treat people will come back to you in the long run. Wonder if he and Greg can sleep at night?

I've heard March 22 from two sources as well. It can't be this week because it's spring break in Houston and the week of the 27th starts a new pay period. So that week wouldn't make sense.

Carrying boxes? Since when do they let you go back to your desk to pack up? Don't they just show you the door then someone packs up your stuff and sends to you later.
what a sad show that will be! Inviting the media to film people carrying boxes to the cabs on the street will be a bad publicity. Hopefully it's a secret.
God are these HR people and execs really so damn stupid that they think they're "rah rah let's work hard" b---s--- is going to influence ANYBODY? Just stop! Accept what you've created! Until the rolling layoffs every 2-3 months stop, NOBODY is going to just "out their heads down and focus on their jobs." That was rhetoric for years 1 and 2. By year 3, nobody is doing more than the bare minimum until they have some job security.
Don't like the defeated, depleted, and demoralized work force?? Then go work somewhere else. (Did I do that right??)
Here we go again..... Sr. leadership is clueless! How can you go lay off a bunch of people when you can't even agree on what ERP system we should land on? Layoff a bunch of Enbridge folks and the Spectra survivors will have fum learning oracle on the fly. Dump the Spectra folks and watch the Enbridge staff struggle with SAP. I could understand if we were losing money and needed to tighten our belts, but both companies have been successful. I guess now that Al has broken the top ten list for CEO pay, he wants to aim for the top 5. Good luck everyone, this is all going to end horribly!
