if you were a certain age (retirement) you got the bonus. wow! discrimination at its finest!

It was not discrimination. It's the law. I don't agree with it, but it is the law.
I did not receive mine
This post was in regard to those let go last year....not current employees! Duh, of course all current once received a bonus. Of the ones let go last year ONLY those of a certain age bracket received a bonus. A known fact. This is discrimination!
Williams is in the natural gas business and it is booming, give me a break. I agree that Williams has some very generous benefits and their severance package is very good.
Everyone that I have talked with in my limited friendship circle at the office received bonuses (old & Young). Williams went above and beyond with their approach this year in my eyes. Keep in mind that that times are tough in the Oil & Gas industry across the board, and they very well could've have not given out anything. Be grateful for what you have, even if it is just a job.
