I worked full time with Staples for eight years right up until they closed up my location in 2015.

I can see they are getting worse each year and nothing has improved even after they closed up

So many stores and shut down SDO locations and several warehouses.

Staples is a sinking ship that can't be saved.

so the question is not which stores are closing, but actually how many stores are left. With those numbers you can figure out which stores you would actually be looking at. Personally, I think all people in the stores need to find new jobs quick, and then leave the company, your store more than likely is going down, unless you are looking at severance get away while you can!!!

I work at the home office, I know of a total of 3 stores that will for sure close. 1 of them is in D61 and 1 in D94 and the last one is D92 I believe

So Framingham feels stores can run on fewer and fewer hours...

Based on the results given out today it is clear there is a lot less need for executives.

"we have the right plan and the right team" - yet you lost $700 million

it's clear that Staples must raise their prices.

Can you believe with all the bad information given out today on the call, they are actually giving out Bonuses, that is just bogus!!! Trying to keep people to stay on the sinking ship, well as happens to all sinking ships, they finally do go down, I just hope there are not to many people around when that happens.

If your lease is up this year and the store is not doing well, count on a closure,

If your lease is up and you are a low volume store, pretty good bet on a closure.

If your lease is up and there are very few other stores near you and the DC is hundreds of miles away, pretty strong bet on a closure.
