Just an FYI regarding these 2017 layoffs - everyone who was laid off in the Jacksonville office, was black.

The last publicly stated headcount was between 1,200 and 1,300 employees - 200 employees is roughly 15% of that figure. Those numbers are adding up. Curious to know who the conference call was with as well as when it took place.

200 people? Where did this number come from. And if 110 was 10% and 200 is 15% theres some serious math issues here.

They had a conference call- laid off 40 salespeople and no Q&A. Paycor had a total labor reduction of about 15% across the entire organization - around 200 people. Customer service, sales, and G&A headcount reduced.

Obviously people do not have basic math skills as number was well below 10%. The change had sound business rational and the overall head count change year over year will be 250+. A company that does not release underperforming sales people is doomed, nor does one that fails to react to changing business environment. Hard choices but right ones.

They laid off over 100 people. From what I have been told I am one of 105-110 people. They apparently over hired and had to let people go. Not two weeks prior they told us the contract employees would be the ones let go. Well they lied.

Call it let go or laid off, whatever you want. But over 100 people across sales and operations were sent home for good on Monday and Tuesday.

It was company wide. Not just sales teams. In addition to sales team cuts, marketing and communication lost a few, PDIT lost over 20, Client Service lost around 30, other departments lost some as well. Total number close to 110. About 10% of head count.

Did they file anything with state departments of labor under the WARN Act?

None of this is true. VC intact. Inside sales very much still there. No one layer off- many sellers on performance plans let go. No where near 100.
