Just to show you why upper management like Campus Presidents, SDOA's, Academic Directors are happy and excited about the deal is because of a HUGE, I mean HUGE pay out bonus! That's right! They motivate us to stay focus and positive to benefit them. ADA's and admissions Reps. gets nada and possibly a nice pink slip after Dream Center make their layoffs. It's real and if you think I'm making this up? Just wait and see 😉

@McZCPXn-1sqw It's literally in all the news you research that it was sold for that amount. Not hard to believe considering they went from being worth near $30 a stock when it was worth 4Billion to now pennies. Actually makes pretty good sense.
Whoever believes that EDMC was sold for $60 million is an idiot. Whoever is posting that it was sold for $60 million is a dumb a--.
Are you clueless? This was a fire sale....$60 million for the entire company? They paid out more to the Feds then the company is worth. We can definitely count on all senior management out the door. Then maybe heads of the divisions later. They could close down more AI campuses..it is all up and the air and no one wins.

@McZCPXn dumb--s the company is being sold so there's no regulations on bonuses being paid out. The only time you can't have a bonus is based on how many students you enroll. SDOA and Campus Presidents are able to get bonuses because they don't interact with students to "RECRUIT" them. Oh, and BTW... this is Sr. Management posting. Not no Admissions staff. Way to try to gear people of the real issues. You probably will get the largest bonus and probably Mark himself posting this comment. Good job on thinking we are idiots. Also, no one is miserable with their job, they are just miserable that people like you are working for such a great company and they take the motivation out of employees.

SDOAs cannot receive a bonus based upon Federal regulations around incentives and ADDs are not eligible based upon DOE standards. Get your facts straight before posting conjecture! This is such a typical response from someone who has no factual basis for statements regarding the situation and just wants to lash out to drive anger in other people. Since you are obviously so unhappy being a member of the admissions team, resign, find a new position that provides you the ethical and moral atmosphere that you see as lacking in your current job. If you have a passion, take the necessary steps towards that goal, grow up and quit complaining!
