I guess management really must be worried that its employees may get a voice again .Sorry ,but the only reason the union was decert in 2000 after cablevision took Tci was due to some really really bad people brought in as managers to help sow dissent and break the union the company spent millions and almost 2 years to get rid of the union.And it was not to benefit the employees .Sorry to let you in on the fact your not quite that important to them it was for corporate benefit.It was so the owners could do what they wanted with the employees and sell off when ever and sell you out when ever leaving you no successor clause or protection to the new owners who are now chosen french .And the frenchman has his plans and it does not include job security or good pay or a normal life .There is a reason the company worked so hard to make sure you are nonunion They harrassed employees followed them on off time.They used a hand full of spineless fellow employees to create a parlor trick making it seem like the majority didnt want the union and used legal corporate protections to never actually have to show a list.In the mean time a few fellow employees who got side deals and extras were used as company pawns against their own fellow friends and employees spineless and you know who .The world could do with out the D-F and J-M. types

You ever notice that when the union comes round suddenly "everyone is gonna be fired, the rich get richer, everyone is being screwed and damn the man!" But once the union loses or goes away everything is fine. No one loses their jobs, the company moves forward, and those who work hard earn more money.
Don't believe the hype! The union needs your fear. I know change is scary, but the sky isn't falling.
