Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

No 1099

According to hilbert there will be no 1099 forms to fill. We will remain w2 employees.

He also stated a self efficient system is a myth and we will be needed for many years to come.

Contractors will remain in play when there's an overflow of work.

He stated we will be scei certified and the document is recognized throughout the industry.

Your tenure is transferred to ATS.

you must be a valuable contributor in order to come to ATS.

This was posted by someone in management. The giveaway is the grammar and words used.

Can all the techs take a moment and look at the information being provided by their management with listening to the union tell them what to think. Just think for yourselves. Analyze your options from both angles, do a little research on your own. Stop getting info from sites like this and prounion techs. Seek out answers from third parties who aren't biased and don't have any skin in the game. There is a lot of emotional statements being made and this shouldn't be an emotional decision. It's your career, not a sports team. Your decision will have long term effects on your career. Best of luck!

It's like buying a house without seeing it you know what you have now, and your voluntarily getting into a new house with what someone is telling you. Get all the facts. If you can ask it how much is the cable stipend that's a average 2400 yearly bill at 200 a month
