In Germany the marketing organization has been reduced about 30% in Feb. The change has been communicated via a conf call, people saw org charts without their names on it.
This is lowest culture practice . The local organization is currently "not operable". Although law protects a fast dismiss, people are being now forced to use the outsourcing company to leave. For people >40y old this will not work in the labor market here.
Employees here have to pay the strategic faults made by the management. If you take a look at economy, it's very robust, taking a look at IBM here, it's declining.
