No bagels and ATS...but it's ok for us to work with expired Hot Gloves.

You would correct especially since it was in writing that old company would be phased out.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I think it might be illegal for Altice to offer you ATS and then take away because you unionized. Wouldn't that be bias against the union and your rights???
Oakland, Contact OSHA immediately as a group and file for unsafe working conditions. Someone will and must get back to you. Dont let this get to you guys, if you are in a situation where hot gloves are needed. So if that means no climbing up ladders then so be it. Remember they cant just fire you guys anymore just out of spite. You know have a voice so speak up and dont let them force you into an unsafe situation.
You have to pay a vendor to get equipment, they are expired but there good 1 year from receiving them and your right it should be kept inhouse but what they hell you get what you give. Mr Troll (out of respect) since you demand it, your upset because the techs have been taking the red pill.
Do you wear those hot glubs
I agree, how is a tech asking for ppe, trying fk the company?
Wow! Sounds like the company is scared more by OSHA, than the union.
Yeah, that's the ticket. Try to fk over the company you work for with osha. If that's your thinking why do you even work here??? If something isn't right in your shop speak up like a man. You were told there weren't any? Then take it up with the safety department. They don't help? Take it to the next level. You don't bch about it in a chat room or call osha. You handle it responsibly. And some of you wonder why your not treated properly. Be a professional. And don't assist unions by giving them info to hurt our company.
Can't get new hot gloves if their isn't any in the warehouse dumbazz. We were told their on back order. Not that they care about our safety.
You act like Ats is a good thing for techs that joined it for guys that signed over something is missing in your fidelity guess what?
@nhj is one of those snakes with corporate dna dripping off his chin. He tells you that unions are bad and unneeded, while at the same time he's planning his own exit. (with a big payday)
Stand by........... I'm sure obeeone is thinking up a two page response to that post. So true though! Quote will start by the way of corporate troll, or altice D s---er.
If your hot gloves are expired get them replaced. That's on you. It's a safety issue. And did you think if you voted in the union you would have the opportunity to join ATS?! Hahaha. Good luck. You guys will be on your own little island, stuck in time while the company grows around you. And when the copper work dries up so do your careers. But at least you'll have your brothers. I do feel for the guys who voted no. It s---s that your stuck with it. You guys hang in there and hopefully you'll have the opportunity to get out in the future.
no ATS offers for Brooklyn
no ATS offers for Oakland
Why? because Altice knows that they would be obligated to negotiate terms of ATS with the Union. They'd be obligated to furnish the union with everything from A-Z pertaining to ATS. They're not going to expose themselves like that. They rather keep ATS exclusive for the non-union shops so they'll be able to do whatever they want, however they want, and whenever they want without that big bad ugly union getting in their way.
Reason is you would have to provide full disclosure to a unionized shop, I guess transparency goes out the window with ATS
Well I hope you are not surprised by that. You didn't really think a unionized depot was getting the offer did you?
When your depot is shut down you will be offered a spot at ATS if there's any available.
Which means you have four or five years of protected employment. No raise, no training, etc etc. But at least you won't get fired for not running a drop.
