Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

The 10% raise.........

So, in true Leadership fashion....the Leader of Enbridge is given a 10% raise in 2016... While rank and file staff are told there are no raises due to economic conditions......huh...and Leaders wonder why staff are disgruntled....folks, don't waste your energy on Enbridge...go find a company that actually appreciates its staff...

This is site exists so people who've been laid off can hopefully find a way to move on. This site acts as closure for those abruptly discharged for "the greater good of the corporation".

It's so easy to tell people to just move on and invest their energies into X Y Z but that's really not the problem. If it was so easy, they would just do it without coming here right?

This is the problem with Enbridge culture in a nutshell. There are too many High Castle Employees lounging around rumor sites telling laid off people to move on with life. Why don't you invest your some of you own energy into something positive? LIKE YOUR ACTUAL JOB.

AM said pockets will get laid off, but no exact word on which groups. If mgt has had discussions directly with your group that may be a clue. Here's the thing, there will be openings in other departments which may work out to be a better fit for both you and the organization. If not, working somewhere else is always an option. O&G hiring has picked up. Keep all your options open. Best of luck to everyone.

Assuming that I have a castle proves your laziness in not wanting to see reality. That also proves the laziness of the most folks here. Invest your energy in mapping your future without Enbridge instead of whining about what some selfish executives do. I hope you can see the value in looking at mirror and saying I have the power to take control of my life. Stop this never ending rumors which are nothing but waste of valuable time.

People who are abused don't leave bad relation ships because they are lazy. They don't leave because there is a degree of control over them. Primarily financial. Corporate is no different in some instance. Go climb back into your high castle

If this place is this horrible why not just leave and get a job somewhere else? Wait, we have bunch of people here who are too lazy to take ownership of their own careers. Just move on guys and stop whining.

The rank and file get no raises, the contractors' wages are cut by 10% across the board and the leader gets a 10% raise. Sounds like Integrity, Safety and Respect!

The party will be over soon once KXL comes in service. Enbridge' Liquid Pipeline business will decline. That's why the current management acquired Spectra to secure their payday for a few more years. They don't care anybody but themselves and their very own club members.
