Why do people keep hinting something huge is coming June -July of 2017. What is this big rude awakening being spoke of

I know people who worked in Shelton who got unemployment last year after Altice took over in June. I am 99% sure you pay into unemployment by employer and you have an account in unemployment that they evaluate as to how many quarters you worked and it can go between states as some work in NJ and NY now. People who work for multiple electricians in tri state can file for unemployment using all the work records
Major layoffs in June 2017 and here is the kicker- You will NOT be able to collect unemployment. Your employment has not been long enough with Altice to earn unemployment. Double kick in your pants. Worked 10+years with Cablevision??? Doesn't matter, you've been working only weeks with Altice
Seems like a lot of meetings behind closed doors, and a lot of sad faced "coaching" with red marks on the computer monitor. Probably setting up many for failure to justify consolidating centers
Place is a joke
June is the obvious time to scale down, this way the company enters the 3rd Qtr of 2017 in a positive position.

Who would want a email that long I know that's temporary
Anybody whose email doesnt end with " alticetechnicalservices.com is getting the axe.
They are axing some field service and osp supervisors soon.
All sups who did not get invited to ATS are getting the Axe. Its just not fair.
They may need the same headcount but I doubt the same number of locations. Consolidation is in order and the call volume seems down..may be rerouted South. We shall see- there seem to be a lot of meetings these days
New York State Public Service Commission's Order (page79)
Job Protections – To ensure the continuation of adequate service, Cablevision will be precluded from laying off or involuntarily reducing or taking any action that is intended to reduce, with the exception of early retirement incentives and attrition, customer-facing jobs in New York for the four years following the date of the issuance of this Order.
For purposes of this Order, “customer-facing jobs” is defined to mean those positions with direct interaction with customers; including, but not limited to call center and other walk-in center jobs, and service technicians.

Mass layoffs to techs?? I thought techs couldn't be touch for atleast 4 to 5 years.
1 yr mark. Expect layoffs
and supposedly there is a possibility of a 10% pay cut to all . New company new owers. new rules. and we'll pay you what we fell like.
check out what obi-1 said in the past. he said some guy told him whaz up. looks like he was 100%. wish he didn't go
So you know layofffs are coming. You're on a site the called the layoff and you're not going to be specific?
Come June is when you can expect some mass layoffs at all levels. It's gonna be a bumpy ride.
So I guess no one really knows .
Not 100% sure but think it has to do with the first year being up. They promised no changes for 1 year. Though they lied about that.
