Now we find out that it will take 18 months to promote. 9 months in current position with passing score cards and meeting goals. Then training and meeting metrics for another 9 months. Has anyone heard anything about new metrics for score cards? In Suddenlink they said will be removing sales from score cards. Also when questions were asked about variable pay cut about whether if we don't take it and once you promote will it be forced to take pay cut no definitive answer. And if you do take variable pay you can only max out at 5% every quarter. So 6 months to break even. Thats if you pass score cards. Then another 6 months to get the extra 10%. But after doing math if you get perfect score cards you will still be losing 5% of your net pay for the year. If you don't take variable pay are you going to be one of the first ones to go? And learned that on tax information it will say Federal Contractor.

It's not to late unionize. If care about your future and family you would want to organize for security this place doesn't give a f**k about you or your interests or your family your just a number and a at will employe with no voice or say in anything time to organize is now and stop the bleeding.
I know of techs that wanted union and 3/4 of depot wanted to join
but once ATS was thought of and established they were told basically union cant help..... Is that true or did management scare them. I myself was 75% yes. Wanted more info. If not true is it too late?
ahh this guy sounds like a salty tech who voted union but it didn't happen . I get it.
I understand what that guy meant about being doomed years ago. The Dolans sold us out awhile ago. That's not absurd your just ignorant. Don't get mad because someone doesn't agree with you.
We were doomed yeas ago. Really? When? And the economy is changing. Yes for the better. Absurd post. Please. Don't write anymore.
Fiber to the home is not on hold . Who told you that ? I've been working the Bergen project since it started and I've been in the company for over 20 years . Listen if we get screwed it will be done to us Union or not . We were doomed years ago it just didn't happen now . The economy is changing and it's not in our favor accept it .
Little late to have all these questions...
Harsh but true we told you to unionize you chose the latter you wanted promises from the union at least you could have negotiated and had your 5 years plus a decent buy out if they wanted you out but noooooooo I'm the man my numbers are great I don't need help, live with it like obeeone said I'm done too clowns
Let's start off with blowing your mind. The fiber to Home Project is on hold because, surprise, surprise they are not using ats to do the work and they either can't or dont want to pay the prices being set by the company/ies they are dealing with.
Ask about the weekly supervisor meeting from april 12th and what was said.
It's real simple everyone can keep posting on here about all the b* that's going to happen. Everyone knows that they are going to try to f anybody that works for them period even if you take the variable pay cut they still crunchy and leverage that entire situation against you. If you don't then they do everything they can to force you to. Who cares if it says Federal contractor on your paycheck as long as they're paying you the same and your taxes don't change that is a f matter. Listen it is structured very simply altice USA owns two products. Those products are called Suddenlink and Optimum. Their contract company called 8ats would do the work for those products. If you don't want to get f then leave if you don't care what's coming then quit b--ching if you're going to stick around anyway shut the f****. You have the option to do something about it leave or stick around and do what you can with what they give you.
Variable pay cut at 10% if you do this on a $10 scale after that you will be making $9. Even if you are capable of achieving the 10% or so the rumor is bonus you'll be at 99% of your original hundred percent. Altice has no intentions of paying you what you are worth. As a technician you do not f** matter. Their only concern is bringing in money and reducing the cost to bring that money in. Go look up Patrick Drahi and look at all the interviews and everything else he's ever done. It does not matter any hurdle that you put in front of them they will either pay the penalty for violating something or some law. Or they will figure out a way around it such as creating ats.
